Ulrich A. Riebe
Visionary Artist and Technological Innovator
Born in 1976 in the historic city of Nuremberg, Ulrich Riebe’s journey as an artist and innovator led him to the picturesque shores of Lake Constance in 2002. His multidisciplinary academic background, encompassing Philosophy, Art and Media Sciences, and Information Engineering, laid the foundation for his unique approach to visual arts and technology.
Riebe’s passion for photography blossomed early, evolving into a fascination with panoramic imagery by 2007. This interest culminated in his mastery of full spherical panoramas from 2011 onwards, resulting in breathtaking, immersive visual experiences. His magnum opus, a collection of expansive, high-resolution panoramas, can be explored at https://www.konstanz360.de, showcasing the convergence of technical precision and artistic vision.
In 2015, Riebe’s artistic repertoire expanded dramatically as he ventured into the realm of public space interventions. Utilizing high-powered event projectors, he began creating monumental video projections that transform urban landscapes into canvases of light and motion. Concurrently, Riebe has been pushing the boundaries of interactive art, crafting installations that invite viewers to become active participants in the artistic experience.
Riebe’s work stands at the intersection of traditional photography, cutting-edge technology, and conceptual art. His innovative approach continues to challenge perceptions and redefine the possibilities of visual media in the 21st century.
